About Prasanna (PJ)
Prasanna Jeer is an Indian Dancer and Choreographer specialized in Indian classical, Bollywood and Traditional south Indian folk styles. He has been dancing since the age of 5 and is has always been driven by his talent, passion and drive to always achieve big. He has participated in several Talent shows all of which were aired on Vijay TV in India. After his experience on these shows he was invited to perform for several Dance musicals and contemporary plays in India and USA.
PJ is currently learning Tanjore tradition of Indian classical Bharatanatyam Dance from Mythili Dance Academy, Peoria (MDA) under the direction of Rama Suresh (Artistic Director, MDA). In 2014 as a part of MDA, he served as the principal dancer and choreographer for “Shakuntala-The forgotten Ring” an MDA dance musical directed by Guru Rama Suresh in collaboration with Peoria Ballet that raised funds for the Children’s Hospital of Illinois! In 2016 PJ was the Assistant Director, Principal artist and Choreographer in the “Shadow of the Swan” another Dance musical by MDA directed by Guru Rama Suresh in collaboration with Central Illinois Ballet that was performed in Peoria, IL and Dallas, Texas to raise funds for the Congenital Heart Center with the Children's Hospital of Illinois and Tholkappiam Foundation respectively.. PJ has also performed twice in Peoria Ballets and Central Illinois Ballet's productions of the Nutcracker.

PJ will also be the Assistant Director in the upcoming Broadway style dance musical "In the "Tale of Anklets" on October 6, 2018, directed by Guru Rama Suresh to raise funds for the Center For Prevention Of Abuse, PJ will be a principal dancer and choreographer in this show along with a team of 120 dancers.
