Kripa Guha

Kripa Guha embarked on her dance education at the age of seven, under the tutelage of her guru Smt. Rama Suresh. Over the last few years she has blossomed into a dancer with grace, delicate facial expressions, and command of rhythm.

 

Kripa will be a junior at Richwoods High School where she currently maintains an excellent academic record. In addition to her academic interests, Kripa is a flautist in the Central Illinois Youth Symphony (CIYS). She is also an accomplished singer, having reached the semifinals at the NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) competition in Chicago. She is a member of a Destination Imagination team that made it to “Globals” for the past two years in a row. She represents her high school on the tennis team, and is going to be a madrigal singer next year.
 

Dedication:

One of Kripa’s passions for the past several years has to been to volunteer for Easter Seals, an organization that provides services to children with disabilities. She would like to dedicate tonight’s performance to the children and families of Easter Seals whose courage and determination have inspired her.
